EXERCISE 01

Patience Push-Ups

Focus — Emotional control, endurance in love

Why this matters

Patience is strength under control. Many marriages are damaged not by big moments, but by small reactions repeated daily.

The exercise

  • Pause for 10 seconds before responding
  • Take 3 deep breaths
  • Ask: What would love do right now?
  • Respond gently instead of reacting emotionally

Reps

3 to 5 times daily, especially during tension

Scripture

Love is patient — 1 Corinthians 13:4

Slow to anger is better than the mighty — Proverbs 16:32
